Chlorshield Gel Coat
The first step to guaranteeing your pool’s durability is in the application of the ChlorShield Gel Coat.
ChlorShield is a marine grade pure Gel Coat that offers unsurpassed UV protection. It ensures that the colour of your NuPool is protected against colour fade for a Lifetime Protection and has been tested up to 10x the levels required under the Australian Standards.
Colour Seal
To achieve the best possible sparkle from your pool shell colour, a number of the colours include a clear gel coat. A colour seal is placed on the back of the gel coat, ensuring the colours reflect brighter and truer, giving the best possible appearance in any gel coat surface.
Vinyl Ester Barrier Coat & Fibreglass
The gel coat surfaces are bonded with a vinyl ester barrier coat on the back which maximises the adhesion between the finished surface and the structural layer of the shell. Only the highest quality vinyl ester resin is used, giving you peace of mind that your shell will last a lifetime.
100% Pure Resin & Fibreglass
Every NuPool shell uses only 100% pure polyester resin and fibreglass with no fillers or bulkers to save costs in manufacturing. NuPool shells are built 150% thicker than Australian Standards requirements, ensuring they are strong yet flexible, making them suitable to withstand all Australian soil types.
Form Core Supports
Form Core Supports are placed specifically on all shells to ensure the correct amount of rigidity in the flat areas of the shell. This provides extra structural strength to the pool, ensuring a lifetime of structural integrity.
Top Layer Resin
The final layer that creates a hardened exterior barrier and locks all of the previous layers together. The layers work together ensuring the strength, colour and manufacturing integrity of the pool, providing you and your family with a Lifetime Protection.
